Today, the Star League was reformed with the cooperation of ALL houses within the Inner Sphere. As a member state of the Star League and per the foundations laid down through its formation, the Free Rasalhague Republic recognizes and has agreed to a faction wide 'soft' ceasefire with the other houses. We urge that all offensive operations AGAINST any Inner Sphere forces cease IMMEDIATELY and your efforts be redirected against the invading Clans. Together with our newfound allies, we can bring our nation back from the brink of extinction and drive our true enemies out of Republican space.
The council of course acknowledges there are lone wolves and mercenary units who may not wish to respect the ceasefire for varying reasons including conflict of political interest. We will respect the decision that either yourself or your affiliated unit(s) happen to reach on such matters and request that at the very least, you be courteous by informing members of the council or your respective unit leaders. The Republic takes NO responsibility for the actions of those who will not adhere by the ceasefire or the conflicts said individuals and parties may instigate on the frontlines.
The time to rise up is now, citizens of the Free Rasalhague Republic. The Clans wish to take everything that remains of our nation and cut through the Inner Sphere's heart like a white hot blade against the midnight sky. We must stand united with our allies and hold the line at all costs. Remember the sacrifices of the fallen and let them serve as fuel for our counteroffensive against our enemies. It is only a matter of time before the Clans begin the short walk to Terra itself. We must not allow this to happen.
