Hi all.

With the mechanic of clan LRMs ( as in it poops out 1 missile at a time), is there any value in adding clan TAG or ART to a clan mech? I have yet to use either in a clan build. Just seemed... silly? I may be wrong.

( I do use BAP in my LRM loads, however)

tag is for locking faster, or getting ecm protected mechs into a lockable status. So it is as usefull for clan lrms as it is for IS lrm's

Artemis however, yes it is not bad, I think at around lrm 40+ you should definately consider it, because it makes the stream tighter and your missiles tend to hit the CT more often. also artemis helps locking faster.

they both allow you to lock on faster - 50% faster for either one, 75% faster if you equip both

don't know how accurate this site is though, since it says BAP cancels ECM to 360m which i'm pretty positive it doesn't anymore

I'm using tag on my lrm stormcrow and I'm finding it invaluable in lighting up targets. Combined with Artemis I'm having no problems anymore making it rain.

I like the OP question. I was starting to wonder the same thing.
