Negative. The reason the 4th Succession War ended was because Comstar went "Oh noes the Davion Steiner thing is going to crush the rest of the IS we have to stop it!" and then they set up things to make it look like a Davion unit destroyed a HPG so they could hit the entire Federated Suns with an Interdiction.

Comstar would also stop the FedCom from defeating Kurita in 3039 by supplying Kurita with a bunch of mechs, some of which had full Star League parts.

Um, no, even after the blackout they used the so calle "black boxes" or "fax machines" to coordinate their attacks.

The Interdiction forced some of the logistical train that would have been needed to cover the expanded area of conquest back into Davion space to compensate for the slower ability to react- "black boxes" being both slower and able to transmit far less data properly than an HPG.

They also didn't have a Black Box on every planet like there was an HPG. The real problem with the black out and flipping to Black Boxes was..

1. Greatly delayed transmission of data from New Avalon to the Front Lines.
2. Limited number of Black Boxes.
3. The snarling of merchant traffic inside of the Federate Suns brought about by the fact that the BlackBoxes were a very limited military asset and the HPGs were required to handle civil infrastructure as well as military traffic.

Just like a clanner to ignore anything but the direct military problem of a situation.

So youre saying im absolutely right, considering the original issue was a solely military one.

Edit: Reworded.

That's not what I said at all. You really need to re-read what I wrote.
