Number of likes is really irrelevant. What counts is the posts/likes ratio!

But your personal post/like ratio is less important than your team's argument win/loss ratio. This is above all a group game, and I think it's best when you use teamspeak with like-minded players to coordinate your forum posting.

Nice idea in theory, but utterly horrible once you get down to the nitty gritty of it.

Reward after X posts = SPAM ATTACK!!
Reward after X likes = also spam and like-back farming and alt-accounts and other shenanigans
Any system to avoid those two = accusations of it happening, complaints of favoritism, people moaning that the system is being got around, people getting around the system anyway, 101 threads on the new reward and on it's abuse and how the forum has gone to hell

Keep it simple: if someone likes you're post you receive one(1) warm fuzzy feeling that someone out there likes your post

I post more on volume.. and that takes effort.
