Dawnstealer think of it more of a think tank, while we don't have any one really "in-charge" alot of the units talk and pass ideas around and when something is being planed it gets around fast so others can join in. We do have a general idea of what needs to be done but things take time and people have lives. Also star league is going to get alot of groups better organized.

Finally, its all the clans that defend against us not just clan green chicken. Hell if its not for clan doggy and clan gray kitty kat they would have lost alot of planets to DHB alone.

And I'm fine with that, too. I'm not looking for a HSIC (head steiner in charge), just some sort of truly unified command structure to organize this mess.

Do we have a contact in the Asian Timezone? Because one of the problems is one or two timezones will show up, take some planets (or A planet) and then they'll all be lost, and then some, in the third. Like I said above, we have the numbers to own CJF - we may not win all, or even most of the battles, but we can drop such a huge wave of numbers on them, that they won't be able to respond.

Instead, they've been ghost-dropping us because no one wants to play against them. I don't really blame the PUGs, but as organized groups, we have to push the sword forward.

Its good to see that you Steiner boys (and girls maybe?) are starting to get some sort of organization going.
A quick word of advice, in the FRR we had good results with a unit council, we call it the Allthing. Its pretty easy, every loyalist Unit gets a vote, all member units of the Allthing have agreed to support the decisions of the Allthing, even if they voted against that decision.
Its the easiest way to do it and it works well. Forces us to talk with each other too.

Whatever you are going to do, I'm looking forward to fighting the clans alongside a unified and coordinated House Steiner.

Allthing could be fun... though many might see it as a waste of time.

And there are complications:

Do really small Units get a full vote too? We should split our big units then, form coalitions...
- Better to weight each vote on unitsize.
What about units with a lot of members not caring for CW?
- Better to weight each vote on CW-Activity... but how do you measure this?
Do numbers of Planets with the Tag on get factored in?
- This might lead to strife for easy pickings while avoiding the "hard and risky" endeavors.

How does FRR handle these things?

This might be bad RP considering traditional Lyran inefficiency: Prefering Politics neglecting fighting proficiency.
But let us consider this: Maybe skip the voting and just coordinate targets. Our german units are doing this quite successful.

Why should we need a unified command anyways? Aren´t our orders clear?

Fight on the Clanfront.

We are the Stone breaking the waves.

Always outnumbered - never outgunned.

We have no actual rules in place in regards which units are alowed to vote in the Allthing, mostly because we are so few that we know all the units and lots of their players by names. If nobody knows you and your unit nobody would accept your vote, you just have to be active and participate.
Also the Allthing is a lot older than CW, i think almost one and a half years now. And our small size allowed us to keep it really, really informal. Wich could be harder to do for a larger house. YOu just can't make it too hard or demanding to participate, keep it casual.

The Allthing has been very usefull in dealing with the star league, not only where we able to elect a spokesperson that actually knows the positions of the other units and is able to talk on their behalf, but we can actually guarantee participation from all Allthing units. With exception of Marik maybe, the FRR might be the best organized IS faction at the moment.
