Not everyone in Mariks leadership is still set for war. Yet, if war does come from the vote we will be willing to take on all your forces even if we end up losing more planets then we take. If we have to, we will be the ones who humble you, because all your other borders will collapse. You can ask the Davions what that is like. Why do you think they lost there rank as the best IS faction? When you lose around 8 planets a day your numbers will dwindle.
War with you would be to just to humble you as we did to the Davions and to the clans. We defeated most of there comp teams, us simple house Marik loyalists. Our loyal Mercs are even better then we are.
Davion and Kurita are not the same, if Marik chooses to declare war on Kurita we will not care if we lose all of our worlds as long as we are capable of fighting Marik.
Don't underestimate the level of skill House Kurita units possess, no Davion team has ever challenged you the way that we will. We've been fighting against extremely competitive units (JGx, MS, CGBI, SA, SJR etc) fielding clan mechs for a long time now with relative success.
Look at the map of the Inner Sphere, how many planets has Kurita lost since CW beta started? Mechwarriors have not left our faction because we are bleeding planets, in fact those who crave a good fight flock to us because of our multiple open fronts. The DCMS is stronger than ever right now.
We can argue until we are blue in the face about who would win in an all out war with Kurita vs Marik but there is only one way to prove it. Marik and Kurita are the two biggest kids on the block within the Inner Sphere right now, the clans would face virtually no opposition if we are both preoccupied. The issue at hand is if Marik is willing to let the rest of the Inner Sphere burn to go to war with us, because that is precisely what would happen.
That being said, the Dragon is happy for a fight no matter who it is against.
