OK, so I really hate seeing stars. I'm an adult. I don't care about a few bad words here and there. Or even a stream of them, it's something I would rather see the word than the rest.

So... Is there a way? Because I can't seem to find it if so.

Nope! No option like that available.

No matter if you are an adult or not, insults and bad language are simply unnecessary. Any adult should be able to communicate everything he wants to say without them.

Most of the words that are filtered are used in such a way that they have no meaning in context.

IE most people that would say F-You or screw you do not mean for us to actually engage in that kind of behavior.

It adds nothing to the sentences used - and we lose nothing (other than a childish version of maturity*) for the lack of it.

*By which I mean that if you need to show you are mature - you probably are not.

PS: Google is watching

Yeah, but then you lose all the colour and depth. Everything just becomes so... benign.

Only if you are not paying attention to what people are actually saying ;)

It has nothing to do with my useage of them. Frankly, I almost never use them on message boards either. I just loathe seeing the stupid stars. In fact, I find the censoring of them far more offensive than just seeing them. Especialy when I am unable to remove said censorship. I mean, let's be serious, we know what most of them are even censored, so why bother?
