It can dual Gauss with enough ammo, unlike the Mad Dog-C or Hellbie-B. ;)

High mounted arms are icing on the cake.

It's going to be svelte and deadly, methinks.

Great pod space, and amazing looking weapon mounts, if the concept art is anything to go by.

65 tons, cEndo and cFerro, a cXL325, and a great profile with high weapon mounts. This thing will be a beast. It's gonna be like the angry lovechild of the Loki and the Mad Cat.

It's a 10 ton lighter Timber Wolf without the option for jets. If you already have Timbers and don't play CW than I don't think I can recommend it (can't recommend against it, either). If you do play CW it brings comparable efficiency to the Timby on a more compact frame. The typical drop deck of Timby + 3xStormcrow can easily be compromised into 2xEbon Jaguar + 2xStormcrow.

Dude, if you can't figure out anything interesting for the EJ, knowing the ample hardpoints and almost 30Ts of freespace it's going to have, then I gotta question your Mechlab skillz.

You should be able to do a fairly competent 2xGauss + 5 tons ammo + 4xERSL build if you strip the armor down to 326/422. That compromises the legs a little too much for me, so 3xERSL would probably be more reasonable with 346/422. That will work if you strip 1 arm completely, the legs down to 45 each, and the head down to 12.

Overall, I like the options this mech brings to the table. I can also see some UAC builds being decent.

Another option I like the sound of is a 2xLRM15+A w/9 tons ammo, TAG, 4xERML and 5 extra DHS. It would play like a cooler, more balanced version of my "C-bill printing" Hellbringer.

You could do 2xERPPC, 3xSSRM4 (2.5 tons ammo), CAP, max armor, and have around 20 total heat sinks. Long range, faily pin point firepower with some close up sandblasting. Or 3xERLL, 2SSRM6, and CAP... Or swap the Streaks for normal SRMs Or an ERPPC, Gauss, and a small number of normal SRMs...

A lot of options.

Damnit, I convinced myself to buy the Ebon Jaguar. Now we'll see if I can resist upgrading to the Executioner pack.

I don't have Timberwolves, or else this would be an easier decision. Timbers can basically do the same builds, except for the most extreme higher tonnage builds, like dual gauss. You can't run a very decent Timber with 2xGauss. You just won't have tonnage for ammo or backup weapons.

Do you wanna know what convinced me to upgrade to Executioner?

The fact that PGI stated that MASC will be 1:1 as TT.

It still will be meh because we don't have DFA, and charge...but a 95 tonner with a lot of lazers going around 90kph, I think it is possible to have fun :)

Well....I hate to break it to you:
