MAX Range:(Math Range with Range Module would be 3069 and 2871 without) we Tested out 2800
Effective Range (Meaning Full Damage): 1023m with Range Module and 957m without

I think it needs a jump jet.

I reckon you could strip almost all the armour, add a jump jet and at least a half ton of ammo.
This lets you get elevation to find a nest.

Just for giggles I drove my Gauss crab up on the outside structure on HPG. Really caught the other team off guard. Five kills that match though only two on top with one delicious headshot on an Atlas. Soon as the missiles flew I dove. Was worth the leg damage in the fall because chat lit up hard with lots of surprise and insults.

Even though it was pretty effective I never tried it again. Truly a novelty move.

I'm surprised we don't see more gauss wolverine 6R's. 30% (with module) cd is fairly sweet, even if you are throwing out the extra ac5 buffs

I ust wonder would the attemp to use the electical field actually accelerate the gauss bullet or would the mech accelerate backwards?

Why do you have armor on a mech that is going to be 2800M away from the fight? I would literally lose all armor for ammo if it was me.

can also give the AC2 a range of 2088 meters. plus fit an ERLL with a XL 200 and 2 tons of ammo.

The Awesome 9M with it's quirk and ERPPC range module does full damage at 1097m. You can mount 3 if you don't mind running a little hot. (I just use 2). And yes you can score a hit out to over 2000m

I've been running that as an urbanmech since the spider came out.

Quite scary, even morsso with the latest quirk change.
