According to http://mwomercs.com/...post__p__470775 You missed the last hunchback variant.

Nice work on the list btw.

I purposely have not included any mechs mentioned only in the ISN News. I stay in line with MWO Wiki considering them "rumored" (though I think the Devastator is flashing in the News too often... :( And, yes, the Grand Dragon is very obvious variant to include).

Thanks! It was announced somewhat less conspicuously via Trebuchet announcement, but I think I should include it.

Awsome work!
Does that mean that when I have an Atlas AS7-DI won't be able to mount the wheapons of the AS7-K model (Gauss Rifle)?

You may wish to revisit some of the newsflashes; 'Mechs such as the Firestarter and Zeus are mentioned, though they are not confirmed to be in-game as we lack artwork for them. imo it's worth listing them here.

The RVN-3L, CTF-3D, and CTF-3L all have an XL engine. That makes them fairly unusual, and probably worth a mention in your quick descriptions.

Great work compiling this list. I'll have to (or you can) move some of those models from the unconfirmed list to the confirmed list on the MWO wiki based on what you've put together here.

Ok, I had the MWO wiki reflect your list above. I didn't add the CN9-D until there is better confirmation though and I'll hold off until the open beta on adding the 'Mechs from the leaked videos too even though we all know they are going to be in there now.

Can't reference the appropriate post or dev blog, but the way modifying variants works (and that's what you want to do: modify the AS7-DI into something more AS7-K-like) is that mech variants have "hardpoints" - spaces on the mech body where weapons of the same type can be mounted (energy, ballistic, missile).

So you should (assuming enough tonnage, etc), be able to swap the AS7-D's AC20 for the AS7-K's Gauss.

Anything that holds and AC-20 should be able to hold the Gauss Rifle with no problem.

A list like that helps you see your options and see what you might be up against, thank you for that.

This game takes place before the clan invade. so no Timberpuppys or mad kittens.
