Dawnstealer, I am sorry. Quirks posted. Mech is trash. Sorry.

Hope they change it, also ordered Zeus pack and very disappoint in garbage can quirks.

did they post quirks for all 3 variants, or just the Resistance variant? I remember the ones they put up ahead of time for the enforcer and panther were only for the one.

All three. In announcements forum. Grasshopper mediocre mech and Zeus garbage.

AMS and AC/5 range quirks for these mechs. No joke. Ha ha.

Still, it's one of the coolest looking original mechs.

"Bad quirks" are supposed to be indicative of a high-quality mech with difficult to kill hitboxes. The top tier mechs are supposed to be virtually quirk-less.

The mechs with the "amazing" quirks are those considered to be pure feces even by PGI.

What look good about Zeus hitbox to you? What look good about hardpoint locations?

AC/5 range without velocity bonus is bad quirk.

Zeus has always been crap in Mechwarrior due to its shoulders (and average in tabletop).

So you were expecting the Zeus to have rediculous overpowered quirks? Do you realize that if any of the Resistance mechs were released with OP quirks right out of the box, that there would be no end to the players crying "P2W!"

Big difference between OP quirks and competitive quirks. Zeus quirks just plain bad, especially for mech that need quirk help due to bad hardpoint placement.

Not all Battlemechs were intended to be equal. There are supposed to be good mech designs, bad mech designs and mediocre mech designs. Mechwarriors in the Battletech universe did not have access to every mech there was (not even to most of them), they had to use whatever mech(s) that they were issued / inherited / bought / were able to salvage and those mechs were not always the best.

Once you realize they like their own posts just to piss you off, their power evaporates.

Nope. Do not like own posts to piss anyone off. Like own posts because like own posts.

The problem is, they're just dumb quirks. They could have done proper ones (like velocity, cooldown, heat, etc) but with lower numbers if they were afraid of P2W. Instead, we got single hardpoints quirked (Grasshopper head missile, Zeus solo missile), AMS range (good players in groups use ECM and know how to shoot down UAVs) and other bullshit quirks like that.

I'm ok with my quirks being moderate in value as long as they actually make sense. These ones didn't. They just show that the people making the balance choices don't actually understand the game for ****.

Oh look, another atlas! You'll have to expose 40% of your mech before you can shoot anything, and you'll spend lots of time hitting the ground. Wohooo!
