Hi all
Remember the Cataphract from the past challenge designation CTF-D(C)
I decided to try to master this Mech so I bought two more Cataphracts a CTF-1X and a CTF-D
I am wondering if I screwed up yet again, I thought the CTF-D(C) and CTF-D where different
I just did the Basics on the CTF-1X (the CTF-D(C) was already leveled up into Basic)
The game shows both the CTF-D(C) and the CTF-D as the same
Question does this mean I need to sell one CTF-"XX" and buy another different Cataphract?
Hope that makes sense it is sort of a weird situation

As far as levelling is concerned, the champion mech, designated by (c) is treated as the same chassis as the mech with the same number, e.g. CTF-D(C) = CTF-D.
In the above example you would need to get a third Cataphract to Elite the chassis.

Yeah, the mechs with (anything in parenthesis) are the same variant as their non-parenthetical brethren. Sorry. Sell and do again with a different variant.

This applies to all champion mechs. Hopefully all those who are unsure will read this.

As you've been told they count as the same mech. Since one has experience enhancing benefits over the other one, sell the plain 'D'. The Cataphract 2X has generic buffs (and missiles). The 4X is slow but lots of ACs. Can be zombied too.
