Please, PGI, at least give a general overview flowchart of how you intend for battles to play out. Equipment and strategies don't need to set in concrete at this early stage of the game, but the general idea of how things should go in a typical battle would really help the community start talking about more things, things that might be further inspiration for tweaks and amendments. Especially how aiming is going to be handled, so that can at least be put to rest, split community or not. Or is that going to be a secret until release?

They said it is going to be special, so a simple annoucement as with the previous ones will not be enough. A mech list, maybe.

It's far less abusable than the crit slot system which imposes no restrictions of any kind.

One-hit kills were impossible in Mw4 due to one-hit kills being coded as impossible. Even a dual gauss, dual PPC alpha strike onto a cockpit with the minimum amount of armor on it would not kill the mech being struck.
This applied for all other mech sections as well.

Long story short - Tell me why I, as a fan of single player, should give an online game a chance. Give me reason to believe it won't be dominated by "pro players" and make the game unapproachable. Why I shouldn't just stick to Dosbox and my old copy of Mechwarrior 2.
You should probably start praying now that MWO includes strong scouting, electronic warfare, and command suite elements.

I would like to see more about the metagame and how it affects the players game, the strategic map, and how various planets affect the game (eg will defending for instance a mech producing planet result in those mechs being available to the MercCorp for cheaper...)

Will it actually depend on what faction one "selects" at the beginning?
Or will everybody simply have access to everything?

How you move, how you aim, how you fight, how weapons work/interact with targets, what kinda of durability to expect from targets you're shooting at, etc.
Anything else is of no great importance to me.

Failing that, some combat information would be nice.
Failing that, just some actual, solid information.

I would also like to hear less whining about MW4 because people joined third person servers and got their butts handed to them,im guessing i wont get this.

Specifically I want them to go into more detail (any detail) about how they are going to prevent the rush for the biggest mech!
I.e. how will they make light mechs like the panther (not a dedicated scout mech like a raven or ostscout) viable against mechs like the atlas?
So details about role warfare, mission objectives, battle sizes (number of opponents) etc etc.
