Lo, There do I see my Father
Lo, There do I see my Mother and
My Brothers and my Sisters
Lo, There do I see the line of my people back to the begining
Lo, They do call to me
They bid me take my place among them in the halls of Valhalla
Where thine enemies have been vanquished
Where the brave shall live Forever
Nor shall we mourn but rejoice for those that have died the glorious death.
Dated between 4 B.C. and 3 A.D.
also copied in the 13th warrior movie
Gods of War I call you
My sword is by my side
I seek a life of Honor
Free from all false pride
I will crack the whip
With a bold mighty hail
Cover me with death if I should ever Fail

I'll probably be blaring "Ride of the Vakarie" when I charge into battle anyways, just seems neccessary
When 2 of us charge 10 of them the audacity will give them pause while our first strike hits......
I do like the guitar rifts in yours too though....off to order music......

4BC-3AD, naming Valhalla? Do you have a citation for this? I am rather interested in history.

O Lord our God, help us tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with their little children to wander unfriended in the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames in summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it --
For our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimmage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet!

I think Man O War is a little cheesy too. But you have to recognize the contripution they made towards creating and popularizing the heroic Metal genre.
P.S. I prefer Heidevolk...

Ooh, yeah, I'm a long time Heidevolk fan too, seen them a couple of times live. My actual favourite:

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
