Is gonne be solid.

- Map name displayed in 60 second countdown in Community Warfare, no more need to count squares.
- Quirks Pass on Clan mechs both new and some iteration on others
- New IS map Algorithm - fixes bugs but also future proof to support upcoming features to CW.
- FXAA Enabled.
- CW maps now accessible from the training grounds.
- Updated repair tool.
- IS will now have one drop tonnage for both IS vs IS and IS vs Clans.
- Fix for excessive particles being rendered as mechs run hot.

But this has me excited:

- Jump Jet animation fixes for worst offending mechs Firestarter, Victor, Enforcer and Timber Wolf.

- Jump Jet animation fixes for worst offending mechs

How sweet it will be to watch some people's crutches get kicked out and the crying that will ensue. Oh yea, your time's up glitching d-lords, better get it in while you can!!

What will be even better is when people realize that some of those mechs are still amazing.


It will also be great that people trying to shoot them and complaining about "invincibility", won't have a scape goat for their play ability any more.

Just outta Curiosity, What do the JJ animations do? do they mess with Hit reg when they are shot while jumping? or what?

They cause a mech to suddenly snap upwards almost instantly, at least on the worst offending mechs. This very quick change in position makes it harder to hit a mech that is pumping its jets, and can sometimes even cause shots to miss entirely by moving the mech out of the way of the incoming volley.

I believe we're still going to find out that some people can't shoot.

Better to fix these things anyways.

What FupDup said.

Basically it allowed players with those mechs to bunny hop. This is a problem for a lot of traditional shooters like Battlefield and CoD.

As for quirks, I am starting to think that PGI should remove all of them, then take a look at balance issues then reapply them in a restrained way.

This is what I'm looking forward to. Now I can explore them in depth and plot routes and measure angles of attack. Wonder if they'll open them on private matches too?

Having a flaw fixed only stops some of the complaining. Gamers be gamers, yo.

And yes, April 7th is going to be a good day in many ways.
