Sounds like heaven for anyone into guerrilla warfare B)

And as far as I can tell, Rasalhague doesn't get nuked or attacked during the Jihad (though I could be wrong about this).

I think Rasalhague itself gets away without anything unpleasant happening to them, but the Blakists certainly do something to the Dominion. Enough that the Bears sent Alpha and Rho Galaxies to Luthien, and when the Blakists issued a batchall to them they basically went "lol, no.", combat dropped both Galaxies onto the planet and annihilated 3 Blakist divisions in record time.

Ah, here we go, The Blakists used Bioweapons and Neutron Bombs on Radstadt.

Radstadt? Interesting... and do we need any more evidence of the evil that is the Word of Blake??

Well I mean, they did volunteer for the KungsArme.

(or maybe took it over and replaced it, but that's just minor details)

The Bears are the best Clan. We have not only survived the test of time, but have thrived as we accept the people of the FRR into our society and fold the best they have to offer into ourselves to produce a stronger combined nation. This is why we were able to crush the Word of Blake during the Jihad, and why we are unmatched among the Clans.

Nothing against our Jag friends of course. But, I mean, really, according to the lore, the Jags can be... jags. ;)

We'll say it this way.

The Jaguars are the best clan that don't eventually move to the IS and merge with the FRR and dominate people.

Agree?

Neg. In addition to the long standing alliance, the Ravens are taking cues from the Bears in their merger with the Outworlds Alliance, and the fact that their fleet could have easily stood off the invasion that wiped out the Jaguars does a lot to help their case militarily, although they take a nasty beating in the Jihad.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm stuck in 3025-3055 so I don't know much about clans beyond the main invaders.

Tisk tisk! Wobbies never learn do they? If you want to play with the 'no no' toys then you better get ready for a whole lot of ***-stompin headed your way.

Well, that just means you need to go read more. The wiki can lay out the basics even if there are a lot of sections that are badly out of date and the various sections of the main site are helpful, but it is still under construction so you will probably have to scrounge around to get more specific details. You could also make an account on the main BattleTech forums to ask questions because there are people there that own literally every book ever published in the entire history of BattleTech.

It's a common theme, you'd think a few minutes worth of 31st Century wikipedia searching would have shown them the errors of doing so.
