I think I am going to like it.

From the looks of it, the defender will have to have good scouting for the outside of base when he wants to bring long range weaponry to bear. I would expect the clanners to facilitate elevated positions inside the base to deal damage early on. Maybe even an LRM based defensive, just outside the gates are gentle slopes and little cover against indirect fire. In the approach ECM is going to be important.
Inside the base I would go for close to mid range direct fire weapons and movement under cover as well as covering fire. There are quite some spots where a good firing line can prove deadly.

My thoughts too Dave, pretty much just looks like another variation on the same thing we already have. Hate to say it but I'm beginning to support the idea of just putting the standard drop maps and modes into the CW rotation.

Tentative thumbs up. The bowl area at Omega looks a little small, maybe 1000-1300m across.
