To Whom It May Concern:

Today I started receiving multiple e-mails for single posts. Case in point, someone quoted a post I made. I received an e-mail almost immediately, as is normal. However, over the next hour or two, I then received three additional e-mails. The quoter's post was not edited or altered in any way. The quoter did not quote me again at any point. These e-mails were identical duplicates to the initial one.

This is also occurring for notifications I receive when someone posts in a thread to which I have subscribed. Once again, the posts in question are generally single in nature and lack editing. However, I wind up receiving three e-mails spread over an hour or two telling me that someone has posted.

This only just started this morning and it has me scratching my head. It's not a big deal, I'm just curious as to why there is this sudden change in notification quantities occurring. Does it have to do with that cable cut somehow? I live in the States though...
