My experience in the event: If you want to ensure you reach your 80 score goal in PUGs, play for defeat.

I usually try to coordinate PUGs in CW a little.
Like "please gather before the gate, push together, focus on generators".

One game today:
One other guy and I killed all three generators while the other 10 ran around getting themselves slaughtered like brainless cattle.
In the end, he had 16 score (killed 1 gen and half of the other 2), I had 68 score (killed the two other halves).
The best cattle had a score of 300 and of course we lost the game.

Next game:
I didn't even bother to go through the gates, just played for mindless damage dealing.
Most kills, second best score. We got totally rofl stomped that even the enemies apologized for it.
But hey, I have my point, hurray!

So my strategy for the remainder for the event is: stay among (or better behind) the mindless cattle, deal damage, watch us lose.

My SUGGESTION would be to make generator and omega damage count in the match score. Big time, like 5-10 times the normal damage score.

Amen even though it's frustrating.

I endorse and recommend this plan for all Clanners.

At this point, honestly, I agree.

It's frustrating beyond hope.
"Protect the cannon!"
"It's a mobile field base and it's irrelevant in counter attack mode, kills count."
"Paigan you are an idiot. It's a cannon and we lose if they destroy it."

It went on like that for TEN minutes.

Some of my, uhm, brethren are so stupid, they may never come even close to terra or it might implode.

In the 3 games I have been able to play the teamwork and co-ordination have been if anything above average for two of them. A few good commanders really helped but lots of people were calling targets and working togetherish... I may have just gotten lucky. In the 3rd game both sides were unorganized and it was a blast :)

Anyone who's done an IS light-mech rush, and won the match with ~20-30 match score completely agrees with you.

I dont think there is any IS light rush possible in this event because IS are never on Attack?
Only defend and counter attack.

This might be true bcuz all you need to get your points is 800 dmg which should be easy and it do not require to win a game...
