The Rocky Road To Battalion Perks
MONDAY, APRIL 27th 3050 -- In the recent weeks, there has been much scuttlebutt pointing to the Battalion “Perks” program. Still in the rigorous testing phase, Zhong-Shao is still not pleased with the synergy this new method is providing. MechWarriors are reminded to drill in company standard ‘Mechs, and adhere to Gatekeepers doctrine until otherwise stated. Another factor keeping the program from making its way to deployment is the battalion’s desire to spend time and resources on moduling and perfecting the ‘Mechs they intend to play once the program is rolled out in earnest. This is leading to defects in the synergy we have trained, which does not reflect well on rolling out the “Perks” program in earnest. This has caused hesitancy by the Command Staff, and the delays the Battalion has seen.
The Gatekeepers are instructed to continue practicing and drilling in their company standard ‘Mechs to perfect the synchronised tactics outlined in the doctrines and group training we provide. MechWarriors not participating or practicing [HLGK] doctrine are proven to not be performing well in company drops.

Officers To Work On Re-Directing Efforts
MONDAY, APRIL 27th, 3050 -- After discussion among the Command Staff, the Gatekeepers are changing direction. In order to fill changing and evolving roles to
continue growing the Gatekeepers’ community, the Gatekeepers unit will be making many modifications to our officer cadre, In order to allow better focus on their varied duties without having to focus on the time consuming role of organizing and directing groups during battalion drops.

MRBC Season 5 Commences
MONDAY, APRIL 27th, 3050 -- The MRBC (Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission) is kicking off and should be shortly underway. Matches for the Gatekeepers’ competition teams are still to be announced, but will be commencing in the coming days for the Red Lancers, Terror Squad, and Nikita’s Club. We are eagerly awaiting their first match ups to kick off the next MRBC season.

Kamikaze Liao: A New Fed Rat Plot?
APRIL 3050 -- MechWarrior Maxwell Albritten writes over the HPG to warn us of a new scheme infesting the Inner Sphere so insidious and insufferably blatant it could have only been dreamt of by the likes of underhanded House Davion and their nefarious leader, First Prince Hanse Davion.
The user in question dropped into Community Warfare as a Liao Loyalist to either do nothing in the case of a ghost drop, or wantonly eject their ‘Mechs in an attempt to slow Liao’s defense. Responding to Maxwell’s comments over the HPG MechWarriors from House Davion inquired as to the Falsely-Associated pilot’s call sign. They insinuated if this could not be provided the offense must not have occurred, though they were quickly reminded of PGI’s “No Name and Shame” policy in effect across the HPG that rendered this “proof” impossible for Maxwell to give.
Given the Federated Menace’s tendency toward underhanded tactics, Maxwell has this station’s support when he says, “Davions can’t even cheat discretely.”

Battle of Tukayyid: Day 3
MONDAY, April 27th, 3050 -- The Battle of Tukayyid has raged over the agri-world for a full weekend, with the Clans holding slim lead of over 60% of wins over the Inner Sphere. The future of Terra is at stake. With the battle still ongoing, claims begin to echo over the Outreach. calling units out point-blank for repeatedly using hacks such as wallhacks and aimbots.

While the claims are unsubstantiated in as far as they fit in with PGI’s “No Name and Shame” policies, the debate rages on. Are the Clan victories clean, or are some of the top units discontented with the advantages Clan ‘Mechs afford?

Qualifier Program Making Progress
APRIL 3050 --- With the Certifications of Gatekeepers pilots taking a large portion of the Training Staff’s time, along with the dedicated focus being placed on the new League season the much anticipated Qualifiers program. While the program will still be rolled out in the coming weeks, the program as a whole has been pushed back to give Staff the necessary focus on ensuring Gatekeepers are caught up with the necessary certifications before moving on to practical applications.
