SNOW RAVEN WATCH /*/ REPORT 001
Current Time: 3050 - 04 - 27 - 1600 GMT
Location: Tukayyid
Planetary Control: 42%
Trend: 2% variation, slowly falling (UPDATE - 1700 GMT: stabilized @ ~40%)
Reserves: 1 Auxiliary Company awaiting drop
Enemy Activity: 22 Auxiliary Companies awaiting drop

Earlier today @ 0800 GMT planetary control was ~80% with about 8% variation. There has been a similar trend during the last couple of days as well, but it's unclear whether this trend is limited to weekend conflicts or will continue through this week. I don't have any intel on the size or composition of enemy forces within these times, but as of 0800 enemy activity outnumbered us by only 7 companies. Somewhere between 0800 and 1600 the Resistance gains the upper hand to drive us out of occupied territory.

The fate of Operation Revival hinges on collecting more intel on this timezone before the last day of conflict on the 30th. Request someone in European / Oceanic timezone undertake this mission? The target of reconnaissance is to collect list of OpFor Special Forces / Elite Units deployed by the Houses between 0800 and 1600 GMT tomorrow, the 28th. Include size of unit encountered, faction affiliation, any tactics that they used, how effective those tactics were, and any key targets / individuals worth exercising extra caution. Also include brief analysis of our own force size / effectiveness, and any personal opinions on changes that should take place.

Someone can feel free to do the same for other times as well. Lets collect as much intel as we can in the next two days. o7

UPDATE - 1800 GMT

After a brief flux in territory control @ 48%, territory is stabilized once again at 42%. No changes in OpFor activity.

UPDATE - 2130 GMT

Reports indicate we are slowly losing ground. Current territory control @ 44%.

Reconnaissance of Resistance comms indicates [PL] Praetorian Legion of House Davion is organizing forces for a heavy push @ 2000 GMT Wednesday 29th and 0000 GMT Thursday 30th.

Liao and Steiner forces are calling for heavy use of AMS / UAC. Adjust dropdecks accordingly to counter their strategy. Avoid using missiles first wave.

Several nodes are left uncovered by Clan forces (may be why we are losing ground). Urgent request to reserve forces from Public fill them when possible.

UPDATE - 2230 GMT

Encountered heavy assault from Steiner; [CI] Comstar Irregulars are in full force. The battle went down to the final minute & we were nearly able to ward them off Sulfurous Rift Counter-Attack. All units, please exercise caution when dropping in final mech, it can make difference between victory & defeat.

SNOW RAVEN WATCH /*/ REPORT 002
Current Time: 3050 - 04 - 28 - 0000 GMT
Location: Tukayyid
Planetary Control: 55%
Trend: 5% variation, rising
Reserves: 1 Auxiliary Company awaiting drop
Enemy Activity: 11 Auxiliary Companies awaiting drop

For those new or unfamiliar with IS loadout trends, remember to frequently aim for side torsos of IS mechs, aiming specifically for heavy ballistics and missile racks. Also, target rear torsos when possible, as many meta variants maximize armor in the front of mechs.

NOTABLE VARIANTS:

Stalker 4N

Tier 1 assault mech, most are probably well acquainted with it. Although it does not equip XL Engine, focus fire side torsos to remove weapons quicker. Once both side torsos are gone, ignore this unit completely. The only known variants with center torso weapons are the 5M and Misery, in which case you should still target the left torso for possible ammo/gauss detonations.

King Crab (general)

Focus on side torsos as XL Engine is frequently equipped. Pay attention to enemy's weapons loadout; If they equip a laser array focus the right torso, and if they equip backup lrms target the left torso for possible ammo detonation.

Cataphract (general)

Naturally, target the ballistics in the right torso. You can also target the legs, as ammo is frequently stored there.

Banshee (long range)

If you encounter a long range sniper variant of the Banshee, go straight for the legs. Banshee pilots make use of hill humping with high mounted hardpoints; Since their legs normally remain hidden, they sometimes strip armor off the legs to cover upper body, making it extremely difficult to eliminate at long range. Take out one leg, then go for the other or if possible target the rear torso.

Wolverine (general)

The meta Wolverine builds focus most of armament in the right arm for peeking around corners. Target the right arm first, and they will be left with minimal weaponry. Target the right side in general, as left side is frequently use as a shield (a la Centurion).

Awesome (ppc boat)

If you encounter an Awesome up close, try going for the arms if you can't hit anything else. Many pilots leave them underarmored and filled with heat sinks. Otherwise, go for the torso as per usual.

Dragon 1N (report by [CGSI] Will9761)

This variant benefits from ballistic quirk bonuses, enabling it to deal a high amount of damage in a short time with dual AC5. Targeting the right arm cannon will leave the mech vulnerable with no backup weapons. Target the right side in general as the majority of the Dragon's dps is located from the center torso out to the right arm.

Atlas (general) (report by [CGSI] Will9761)

It is tempting to target the Atlas's right torso ballistics, and with good reason. Take note of the variant, however. S variants frequently carry a majority of their weapons loadout in the left torso. The D-DC carries its ECM in the left torso as well. Therefore, When facing these common variants, target the left side of the mech.

Hunchback 4P (report by [CGSI] Will9761)

This variant carries a majority of its laser array in the right torso, so target that hump with extreme prejudice. The same goes for most other Hunchback variants, so in general you should target the right side of the mech.

UPDATE - 1600 GMT

As indicated by earlier reports, allied forces are now seeing heavy use of UAC and AMS. All forces, please refrain from using lrms for the first wave.

Current planetary control is back at 40%, ~4% fluctuation.

SNOW RAVEN WATCH /*/ REPORT 003
Current Time: 3050 - 04 - 29 - 1515
Location: Tukayyid
Planetary Control: 60%
Trend: 6% variation, stabilized
Reserves: None
Enemy Activity: 11 Auxiliary Companies awaiting drop

T-MINUS 1800 - END OF ATTACK WINDOW

WARNING!

[PL] Praetorian Legion assault imminent, T-Minus 0445. Two waves of assaults are scheduled @ 2000 & 0000 GMT. Size of enemy force unclear, will update as more intel is collected.

UPDATE - 1730 GMT

Planetary control stabilized @ 60%. T-Minus 0230 to enemy assault. Recommend conservative use of lrms; Though Steiner and Liao have made use of heavy amounts of AMS, the other Houses have shown no indication of adopting anti-lrm strategies. Do not drop lrms 1st wave however, and use sparingly to mop up individuals who stray from the pack.

Additional Intel: Griffin 2N (report by [CGSI] Will9761)

This variant equips its ECM in the left torso. Recommend target priority left side before right side.

Additional Intel: Jagermech (general) (report by [CGSI] Will9761)

The Jagermech must mount XL Engine in order to equip dual AC20/Gauss loadouts. Not all variants equip this loadout, however you can bet on odds of triggering ammo detonation in side torsos. Therefore, recommend target side torsos over center torso.

UPDATE - 1930 GMT

Planetary control @ 46% and dropping. Enemy activity is doubling, request all auxiliary forces queue for drop.
