No, it is the Battlemaster 2C. (IIC is used to refer to Clan refits of IS mechs)

BTW, The Battlemaster 2C should really be ECM-capable. Like the Atlas D-DC, it is a command mech, with heavy focus on electronics.

Had a good discussion on speculation for the -0X last night: So, we think it will come with a Command console, BAP, ECM, AC/5, PPC, 3 ML, 280 STD, and 7 SHS. 11 tons of Armor to round it out.

Here are the canonical Cataphract 0X (here, in page 6) stats:

70 tons
Engine: 280 Std
Speed: 64.8 km/h
no jump jets
Armor: 11 tons Std
4 extra SHS

RA: PPC, Medium Laser
RT: AC/5
CT: Remote Sensor Dispenser (0.5 tons) [actually, some kind of UAV]
LT: EW Equipment (7.5 tons) [primitive ECM + Active Probe, but with shorter range]
LA: Medium Laser

So, if PGI replace the RSD and the EWE with ECM, Beagle and Command Console, there will be 2 extra tons. Maybe extra armor?

0X got gimped hardpoints. In order for it to not suffer from the CTF-4X syndrome, you'll probably end up using only the right side of the mech. Thinking 2xPPC (RA) + Gauss. 2xLPL + AC20. 2xERLL + Gauss ECM sniper. Would not brawl with this.

There's nothing wrong with the CTF-4X. It's a serious ******* on CW.

The -4X has to expose itself to return fire, which is its drawback. If the drop decks are coordinated, then the -4X works because enemy 'mechs won't have time to focus on the -4X and it ballistic support can be utilized. The -0X will suffer from the same exposure rate, but it will have energy HP instead of ballistic. As a Stand alone mech, it will be outclassed: it needs to be utilized in a coordinated drop.

I'm told Raptors are arriving on June 12, led by a new Star Lord, but you may want to confirm that with ComStar.

Meanwhile, I'm not as convinced of the need for an ECM Heavy, but I am glad it is the -0X. The "Ox" harks back to a time when the Intelligentsia were making great strides ahead, before the mad resource grab committed by Hanse Davion deprived the Capellan citizenry of a new golden age. The predations of our neighbor has put the Confederation on a permanent wartime footing, yet nonetheless it will be good to see the -0X reach its full potential.
