MAY, 3050 -- Ahead of the coming MRBC season, the Gatekeepers' battalion is intensifying practice to perfect their deadly craft. Judging by the results on the field of bloody conflict, their skirmishes and efforts are being well rewarded.

All Hands Requested to Update Entries After Battalion Ops
May 11th, 3050 -- In order to keep the Community Manager spreadsheet as Up-To-Date, and as accurate as possible, the Command Tower has issued a request to all active Gatekeepers to update the CM sheet with a comment in the appropriate "Ops" section with the date attended. An Officer will review your comments for accuracy and amend the spreadsheet.

Recent Additions to Gatekeepers 'Mech Roster Meeting or Exceeding Expectations
MAY, 3050 -- Last week, we were pleased to report the addition of four new chassis to the Gatekeepers roster, the Firestarter, Griffin, Orion, and the Battlemaster were announced.
Command was pleased to find that variety truly is the spice of life. Finally, after years of salvage on the fringes of Capellan space the additions that were finally able to be fielded roared to a truly amazing start on the battlefield.

HPG Abuzz Following Unveiling of New ECM-capable Cataphract
MAY, 3050 -- In the nick of time for Community Warfare Beta 2, a reinforcement variant, the Cataphract-0X, has become the talk of the Inner Sphere. The newly added variant boasts, as the first of it's kind... A Guardian ECM Suite.
The much anticipated heavy chassiswas announced a week ago on Sian. The result of Capellan ingenuity to fuse the EW capabilities of the sneaky Raven with the raw power of the workhorse Cataphract. Certainly, these towering machines of war will be a great addition to the Celestial Throne's arsenal. Tukayyid: Will the Gatekeepers Ever be the Same?
MAY 11th, 3050 -- Though initial reports upon the Gatekeepers return to Purvo were filled with stories of a battle well fought, some digging beneath the surface of a battle lost, and still decorated. A battle filled with death, blood, and earthshaking carnage for Purvo's beloved planetary garrison. The Gatekeepers fought tirelessly for the extent of the week long battle for Terra, but the Clans were unrelenting in their siege leaving whole Artillery Regiments either suffering intense casualties or entirely decimated..
The MechWarriors of the Gatekeepers battalion fared little better those who were not lost due to malfunctioning ejection systems or horrifying reactor breaches were decidedly less fortunate. Many who remain are beset by the nightmarish visions and outbursts brought on by the perilous illness Capellan specialists are terming PTSD or, Post Tukayyid Stress Disorder.
In response to the aftermath, the Her Celestial Wisdom has seen fit to establish the Romano Liao center for the Veterans of Interplanetary Wars. In response to the terrible ordeal befalling those who are returning from Tukayyid's bloody conflict, Her Celestial Wisdom gave a comment regarding what was being done from the Throne on Sian over the HPG relay:
"We, on Sian, will be remaining true to the Capellan philosophy of acting in the interest of the Greater Humanity. Thus, the MechWarriors who gave their lives and minds so valiantly for the Sphere will not be cast aside. We will not recreate the inequities of Pre-alliance Terra. As Alanna Korvin DeVall stated so aptly stated within her Doctrine penned during the early 23 century she deemed that the, ‘Subservience to a “Greater Humanity” is a necessary trait of human beings in a starfaring age.’ In showing that all too necessary of a trait in their time of need the Confederation will devote its resources to the convalesce of the survivors of the harrowing Battle of Tukayyid."
