When I post two or more replies in close succession, they are merged! Why? Is this intended behaviour?

This is not good because if I'm replying to two different posts, the answers are merged and it's not clear who I'm talking or replying to.

Having the posts separate would not help differentiate who you intended them for any more than merged posts. You should use the 'quote' or 'multiquote' buttons and follow each quote with the intended reply. Alternatively you could always precede a statement to a specific person using their username following an @.

@AbsUserName: Auto merging of replies in close succession is a feature of the forums.
