If our pilots NEVER die, should it not read <name> destroyed <name> mech ?
Just an observation.
I would prefer the "destroyed" above the "killed" since our pilots never die.

Also, it sounds like they got GabeN to narrate that video.

As I said there, I never understood why you would eject, since you cannot die and that would give you a reason. But I'm not sure if I would a list of names under my Nickname.
I really can't see a perfect answer for that right now. =\

This would mean if you we're under fire you would have to make the choice whether you want to eject to get the end of match bonus (i would personally only do this if i was getting pasted early on, so i still got a larger bonus at the end) or risk the bonus and pit your piloting skills agaisnt your enemy in a last ditch effort to save yourself. I believe that ejecting should always be a choice, its a part of the game and its strange to say but i always found a strange sense of gratification in previous MW or MC games when the enemy pilot didn't eject
Just on a off topic, i think bonuses for your entire lance surviving the battle would be a cool way to encourage teamplay between players. It could nudge players to sticking with and helping the lancemates more.

Decimated actually means "reduced by 1/10th". It's from the Latin term for one of the most extreme punishments for a rebelling legion. 1 in every 10 men were summarily executed.
If you decimated a single human it would be far more gruesome I suppose, since it means you removed 1/10th of their body.

I'd like it to list the name of the custom variant you were killed by.

How was the kill of a enemy aircraft was named in ww1 or ww2? I believe the behaviour of mech warriors must be similar to the fighter pilots of this time.
I was searching for an answer and found aerial victories:
Hm: X achieved victory over Y doesn't sound right.
However destroyed isn't correct too. A mech is destroyed when there is hardly anything left for salvage - complete destruction of the torso through reactor overload or ammunition explosion. Most mechs will be disabled through , gyroscop hits, destroyed legs or even safety systems shutting down the fusion reactor...

I don't see why my friend May should automatically get kills, she might not even be playing! I think this would work better if it was MY name.
The danger of typing on a TV screen across the room. Thank you for pointing out my error in such lighthearted a manner.
