At least one of your main competitor games offers a built-in match replay recorder. It's an immensely useful tool for community interaction, as well as allowing people to preserve their most glorious moments.

I realize that this isn't a priority launch feature (by all means, make sure there's a game first before trying to record it! :)), but I'm wondering: is it on the roadmap somewhere?

Can you give us some more detailed information about what types of things pilot skills will affect and how they will level up?

Is it possible to change your pilots name? The reason I ask is that most mmo's don't let you use spaces, so I didn't even try and I didn't get the name I REALLY want.

I second the name change question. I would love that option.

Anyways:

If I promise not to get into the free beer, can I still snag an invite to the Nvidia meet n greet even if I'm not yet 21? (Santa Clara is pretty darn close to me.) :)

Will Ballistics follow a true ballistics arch? How will ballistic damage be effected at double the intended max range?

In Dev Blog 3 players are said to have two ways of joining matches either through contracts or by entering quick matches. Please elaborate on both of these match types and what the differences are.

It's very outdated and the minimum system requirement section there is still left as unknown. This confuses a lot of new members and older members have a hard time finding sources.

Many new frequently asked questions are cropping up and searching for answers involve looking through pages and pages of dev posts and normal posts in old topics.

Some questions that come to mind are:
Can I use canon names for my unit?
How are engines handled in the mechlab?
What kind of "image enhancement" modes are there?
Can we have clan/unseen mechs?
How will the match making system work?
How do house loyalty points work and what do they do?
Etc...

Everyday the same old questions get asked repeatedly and I think a central place to look for answers will help new players a lot.

Will there be Ninja Pirates wielding Gerbil Cannons? And if there are Gerbil Cannons what is the velocity of said gerbil when it is fired? :)

1st is the "ten mechs on release" open beta or full game release.
personaly i'm hoping for more chioces on full release
as chioces in lite and heavy's is very limited.
a lancelot or flashmen is needed in heavy's.
husser or mongoose would be nice for lites
enforcer or blackjack in med's
kingcrab,highlander,zues,or cyclopes in assualt allso.

Can we get a rough idea on acceleration rates and speed of torso twists for the various chassis? And how have those module slots been doing? Any info on slot capacity per chassis?

Something for us armchair mech designers to chew on while we wait?
