I had 3 crashes in 5 drops. One time the screen just froze and than I was dropped off to the desktop. The second time I press the button to fire a PPC and suddenly I was looking at my beautiful desktop. Third time just about now, end of the match and suddenly desktop. This is interesting considering I had one single crash with error message in the 50-100 drops before the patch. Now i just crash to desktop regularly with no error message. Not good!

So far... I tried... DX11 came across a crash.
When back to my usual DX9 so, far no issue.
On 64bit.

I have something like a 40% crash to desktop rate since the patch. Something has definitely gone awry.

Just go back to DX9 and see if you have any issues? I think raging "OMG REFUND!" is a bit premature. Every time anyone patches ANYTHING there's the potential for bugs. If you actually want to support this game, give PGI more information than "herp-a-derp *3* my game crashed" so they can assess and fix the problem in a timely manner. Give information on the nature of the crash, what you were doing when it happened, what you did after it happened, and what you're going to do to follow up. ;) For example:

I actually had one crash on monday before the patch. On loading Mining Collective, the game got stuck in a "loading game" loop. Task manager displayed that MWO was not responding, so I had to force quit. Since that one time I've had no problem on Mining Collective, or any other map. At the time I assumed maybe it was an individual server crapping out (this has happened to me a couple times before). It could also have been due to tabbing out right before the client started to load the match, but I couldn't remember if I'd done so. I restarted the client and tried to rejoin the match, this time making sure not to tab out or do anything poweruser-ish/unnatural. The game still got stuck in a loop loading for at least 2 minutes before I gave up and force quit again. This is the only crashing issue I've had in months, and it was pre-patch. So, I have a feeling that I must have done some combination of untypical actions on my computer to cause the issue. I will try to replicate the crash and re-post here if I find anything. Since the patch was already rolled out though, I may not find anything..

Well looks like client is bugged again. I can play 1 match, then the next match crashes. Tried 10 times, everytime same thing. One game, crash, one game, crash, game, crash.

Allready used the MWO repair tool. Unfortunatly client still keeps crashing. I'll just wait for the bugfix, because this is annoying.

We are looking into this issue and hope to have a fix soon. Can you people provide more info: Sys Spec, DX9 or DX11, 32-bit or 64-bit Clients?

The client crashes for me in ONLY in CW, in worst cases: few seconds into the game and then crash, rejoin, same, rejoin, same.... It can happen in any CW map, not related to a single one.

Note that it NEVER crashes in other game modes, I can play 10 games in a row without problems. The repair tool found nothing.

It is getting worse because I was able to play CW with relatively few crashes until 1-2 months ago.

Crashes are "clean" crashes to desktop, no blue screens nor system lockups. Apparently it is related to memory usage because I occasionally get an allocation error dialog, sometime multiple dialogs.

Specs: WinXP 32bits, DX9, E6600 dual core, 4GB RAM, AMD5870.

I've seen a noticeable increase in CTDs since the patch -- several per (short) session. I'm running the 64bit version, DX11 at 1920x1200, with settings on Very High except particles (med) and antialiasing and motion blur (both off). Video card is a Radeon hd6950 with the current-for-this-oldish-card version of Catalyst.
