Today I switched bedrooms with a member of my family, and after moving my PC to my new room, the first thing I did was get on MWO. Everything was fine until I got in game, when suddenly everything happened about a quarter of a second late. The game was unplayable. Turning, firing, everything. Even the audio had the lag. I quickly started League of Legends to see if it happened for that too, but it didn't. I dont see how moving my PC could cause this, as I used to move it between my girlfriend's house and mine occasionally, and this never happened. I looked for a solution online and didn't find anything helpful.
Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-SLI
CPU: Intel Core i5
GPU: AMD Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 280
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Monitor (if it matters): Dell UltraSharp 2000FP, connected with DVI

I'm guessing you did some port-forwarding for MWO, and have forgotten about it: Surf in, and update …

If that sounded like Greek, try rebooting the router/modem.

I made no special router configuration for any games I play. Also, the lag continued in testing grounds. If that still sounds like a PAT issue, please tell me how to go about fixing it in a motorolla quick config soho router, as I am only familiar with cisco routers.

Previously and currently wired or wireless? If wired you may have a bad line.. wireless you may be picking up a wifi echo. Adjusting the antenna on the router or the pc may help depending on the level and kind of interference.

Sounds like Lag...
First where are you from ?
What you ping in game ?

And input lag is usually a term meant for slowness from peripheral input to monitor.

I know. I dont think it's network lag. I've played with lag before, and this isn't like that. No teleporting, no stuttering command reactions. Just a stable.25 second input lag to video AND sound.
I'm from Saint Louis, and I'm wirelessly connected to a router 4 feet from my tower, and my ping was its standard 32-35. Also noted, aiming was a bit jagged. I had slight framerate drop while looking around.

Did you knock your heat sync loose or has a fan gone out?

I don't think so. Nothing else is affected, just MWO in-game. I'm thinking it's a software issue, and I'm beginning to think I will have to reinstall... (don't want to do that)

I would run the repair tool before going full reinstall.

So it's not just this game, Planetside 2 has the same problem, albeit not QUITE as bad...
