this is for all the other pilots who like me, live on the razors edge and play with hot builds, but among your hot builds that you like - what is the hottest?

i got to admit, my favorite build in the whole game is my hottest build, but for me it is too much fun
it is 0.99 heat efficient. under 1.0 efficiency! but i love it and i have the most fun in it.
usually i don't overheat too much unless i become undisciplined/reckless with my shooting or indiscriminate about firing ER weaps.

people never believe me when i tell them my ride is 0.99 heat eff.

i made a little video though, you can see the mechlab before i launch the numbers on efficiency

do you guys have a hot build that you can make work somehow? wanna share it?
would love to see it.

i am tired of people demanding that you have a 1.39 heat efficient build~ what are they scared of doing actual management? well - salute to all see you guys in the field!

edit: playin therma with this build!

That's my hottest current build, 1.17,

I did play around with the 3F and 4N using 6 ERLL or 6LPL, very hot by with the LPL it usually only took 1 alpha.

The Hottest build I use is the 7xMPL TBR-D. It can alpha twice if on a cool map... Otherwise you want to stagger the 4 arm mpls and then the 3 torso mpls and even then at best you can fire 3-4 rotations before overheat. However at close range (~300m) it's 56 point alpha will usually melt the armor off any enemy mech (and can take out lights completely). It's the clan version of the TDR MPL build, though sans those tweaks it runs really hot.

1 Hunchback.

9 Medium Pulse lasers.

You do the math.

(and stats: 42 wins / 22 losses (1.9), 2.76 KDR at 173 damage/kill)

-4P(C)? I frequently say to myself that that mech should not be anywhere near as fun as it is, but I always enjoy blasting someone with nine lasers at once. I've nicknamed it Death Star.
As for me, I've started using a stock build Mad Dog B (whichever one mounts 3MPL, 2ERLL and various missiles), and that thing overheats like no ones business, even on alpine peaks :/

Well my triple large laser UM-R63 was a lot of fun, but with 2 PPC's and some extra pew-pew and dakka, this was fun if a little warm.

Also I ran my UM-R60L with standard heat sinks just so I could squeeze a few more points out of 3 tons of armor, it wasn't horrible unless I was shooting and jumping at the same time - which was very frequent. The advantage of shutting down in mid flight is breaking LRM lock and falling a few meters hurts less than a volley of missiles!
