Hi! big fan of your works Posted Image. i'm a big fan of papercraft and mech model, been making all kind of detailed paper models (that i can find on the internet). Not much quality works apearing lately so im thinking of making my own model from ingame 3d models (warhmmer, mechwarrior). I only know how to work with paper though, mind if i ask some questions Posted Image
so what are the whole process of making that hunchback ?. Do you just exporting the ingame model to pepakura and then start printing it?, building layer upon layer with hard paper ?, did you use any other material like wood or plastic (i'm completely noob at this and dont know where to look for instructions).

Don`t be so sad Posted Image
It is not so simple.. First You have to extract 3d model from game files. Here You can find how.. http://mwomercs.com/...ing-pgis-mechs/
Now, I use Scetchup from Google to redraw whole model based on the original to be simpler, cleaner etc. I need 2-3 weeks to do that, next step is pepakura DESIGNER to unfold it, also boring and time consuming process.. good luck:)

For now I have used only old models that are in one piece so I don`t have to use blender.

This is impressive. Have you ever thought about making the internals of the mechs? Like not just the cockpit with the pilot and all that, but also the skeleton, engine, and even weapons.

That's quite the declaration. I don't know if you've noticed, but your models have been amazing.Posted Image
