Excellent! I really hope they push these changes over to hero mechs. Call me shallow, but I've avoided quite a few heroes just because of their gaudy camos.

So happy to rip off those ugly I and P camos and their weird tinted colors. Every try to get a nice color for the pinstripes on Invasion camos? Or the hideous color bleed between colors on Phoenix camos? Yuck. Even if I liked those camos, the tinting ruins them.

This! This is such great news!!!

I can not wait to put woodland or polygone camouflage on my Invasion mechs! Or Smoke Jaguar and Ghost Bear parade patterns that make up for good jungle and arctic camouflage as well!

And they even want to expand full camo support to founders, phoenix as well? Maybe even Heroes! Awesome! This has been wished for by the gross of the paying customers for so long! Well done PGI! Now 1000x times more excited to get my Wave III mechs and put camo on them!

Oh yeah finally my 70tons heavy walking tanks will finally look like the warmachines they are and not some fuggly racecar... Up till now most of those stupid pin stripes made me paint my C-bill bonus mechs in dark green on all channels. A tad monotone but at least it did look like a tank in basic NATO green.

It's still better than the stock Clan Cammo. Literally worst camo pattern ever.

In many cases there isn't even new skins required since the cbills versions are exactly the same hard points and the custom geometry is just bike racks.
Just a text file edit to allow different camo selections.

Glad they are finally allowing this.
