Search filter window which you can type in stuff you are looking for. Few different sorting methods and view modes (small font list, big icon list, bigger font with detailed descrpt. list, etc)

To this day I haven't found IS UAC 5 Range boost module to unlock. I just can't find it.

those displays in cockpit they just show disco lights.....
how about a 8-16 bit rearview cam? on the most predominant display?
so pilots can get a clue when the backstabbing lights alpha you in rear armor,,,,
just a thought.as they had rearview in most of the mech games.

what was that mission?inspect and destroy power converter then a bunch of sumoners ppc
you as you try to get to your dropship it was really effective to use on that one as others...

Might be an old request but would like an improved weapon grouping in place or just include
weapon sub grouping capabilities so we can chain fire in groups

Meaningful faction choices in FW. I would love to see a system that encourages people to use mechs particular to their faction! An example to help convey the point: Someone belonging to Kurita would receive a C-bill bonus for using mechs like the dragon, panther, grasshopper and so on while imposing some sort of cost or rewards deduction for using mechs that are stereotypical for another faction like the jagermech or enforcer of davion.

This would immediately add a meaning to choosing factions other than a clan vs IS mech selection. Furthermore, pushing certain types of mechs to groups would help develop a "style" to each faction. Imagine Clan wolf with its lean toward faster mehcs (adder, ice ferret, timberwolf, gargoyle) actually using speed and rushing tactics as is expected. Sure some will complain that it leads to predictability, but in reality it would help define fight styles and strengths more clearly. Imagine having some level of tactical knowledge when voting whom to attack. A short explanation from lore regarding the typical and preferred fight styles of each of the factions would help further push people toward certain styles. Strengths and weakness would becoming meaningful, and another dimension to the game beyond the generic super builds everyone has come to stack their decks with.

Let's get some personality into this game, some depth and reference to lore. This is a relatively simple way to add a new layer of thought into the game without any massive overhaul so lets get it in!

I would like to see a salvage system that rewards players for a victory. As such components that have not been destroyed in the match from the other team would be split between the victorious team members. Possibly the value of these could be split between team members based on damage done and/or capture points taken depending on the game mode.

It will be great to have some module that set smoke & heat curtain on some place once per battle for a few minutes (cover whole sector with something like air strike?). Mech inside this smoke field is not available for targeting and heat vision filter. As for me it is critical for medium & assault class, because on open maps they difficult to hide and get closer. Lets give them some chance. It will be a good doze of adrenaline to faced with enemy cockpit to cockpit. :). What you think?

I just have two simple key binding requests...

1) Add a "Set throttle to -100%" (full reverse) keybind. There's one for full throttle, but there isn't one for full reverse?

2) Let us bind a key to more than one function, e.g. binding left click to both fire current group and select next weapon group, to allow us to chainfire groups, etc.

I really would like to be able to actually search up people's profiles. Pilot search does nothing, and the only option there is, is to filter by name and that's a hassle. They also have to be logged in. What if I want to talk to that person, or leave a good comment on their profile. Can't do that can I?

Immediately commission someone to develop and app for iOS and Android that pings the player in pocket when it's time to drop in CW. Sitting around staring at that screen and waiting is a mood killer for some people, it's the main reason I don't drop in CW as much if at all.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but what about units being awarded control of planets for meritous service based on their performance and status in the game. So major units can earn control of major planets and lesser units can earn control of lesser planets. I have noticed that there are plenty of planets that each faction controls that seem to be insignificant in most battles so why not use them

If another faction captures a unit controlled planet the unit would lose control of that planet of course. It would be nice to be awarded a planet for showing loyalty to a faction since not every unit can capture a hot planet.

Mechanics
Mainly I want 'representation' not necessarily precision [aka could be done in various ways] of what was in the tabletop game.
- Actual destructible terrain such as buildings, we're in giant kick arse robots. We should be able to knock down buildings and flatten small boxes with our feet.
- Melee fighting. Can I FINALLY have a mechwarrior simulator with one of the main aspects that was battletech? Please.
- Bring back knockdowns, though perhaps only a 'chance' and in combination of being punched/kicked. It makes no sense that a jenner can sit below the shooting arc of an Assault without potential consequence.
- Variation in gyros equipped, at the cost of weight and at the benefit of shake and reducing knockdowns
- Atmosphere... civilians running, cars driving past, perhaps offering false radar blips.
- Setting forests a blaze to deny easy usage
- terrain effecting movement, such as bogs slowing you down.

Maps
- Seriously the incredibly low number of maps is embarrassing after all of these years, it was being talked about in the Beta! Simply we need more, like 100, this is not COD, this is supposed to be representing fighting on hundreds of worlds each as varied and large as our own. Why would we have so few places to go to?.
- Having some kind of random generator of maps would be helpful. Why would we know the terrain going onto a different world every match? A way of reducing issues or getting rid of bugs in such a system might be to employ a few 'sectors' of map that you tie together in different random ways
- varying drop points [that aren't miles away from your own team!!] to add levels of unpredictability and having to adapt tactics. Could be easily implemented with the current maps. It could also use quite different parts of maps.

How about being able to sell everything. Right now I have four mechs in my inventory that I don't play. In fact two of them I won in tournaments. For some reason these mechs cannot be sold even though they can be completely stripped of every weapon and other equipment. They don't really cause a problem but they are cluttering up my mechlab.

A rear view mirror/camera. Use one of those pretty consoles in the hud and make it show whats behind you. would be very useful and would be a great use for those consoles rather than just eye candy.

An icon next to the social button tab, for faction chat. Faction chat is fine, if you are already in a lobby but calling for help would be WAY more effective if it was in the front end. The call to arms tabs are there so why not faction chat?

More maps. not just revamps, which are great, but new and original maps. personally id love to see more dense city type maps. and many more for faction play, or add the existing maps to faction play.

More modes for faction play. rather than just a defense/attack mode have a kind of pitched battle mode. keep it in the same queue but make it random. for example, one match is standard attack/defense, the next is a pitched battle, the one after is a patrol and so on.

And finally PVE and solaris arena modes. id be happy with a horde style mode, where you and 3 pals have to survive increasingly harder waves of enemy AI mechs, but a full co-op (lance size) campaign would be preferable. As for solaris, id like to see a 1v1 queue a 4v4 and a free for all. a voiced commentator like in mechwarrior 4 mercs would be awesome too.

I would like to see being able to upgrade your drop ships in CW. Increasing their fire power, deposit speeds, and drops from orbit to anyplace on the map using the detachable jump jet system (with some leg damage upon insertion...aka don't use a light or they will die).

1) Better community services: Chat and player/pilot interaction tools gives everyone incentive and reason to stay online/in-game longer and reason to return again and again.

2) Game modes that reward mission accomplishment more than attrition based "wins". Earn considerably more c-bills for meeting the objective. Consider re-arm/repair and salvage in FP and QP, although one should never see a loss, making it worth while to accomplish missions would encourage actually playing the missions.

3) Consider integrating QP and FP. QP players would see very little change, except that their win/losses would count toward the FP maps progressions. Where the QP players attack would be based off of the FP Unit leaders and the voting system. QP players could manage as much, or as little of their FP direction as they choose... so QP is still QP, but it allows unit/faction leaders the ability to use the QPers as cannon fodder/infantry units.

4) Keep plugging along on fixing little bugs, broken mechanics, and map/mech issues.

5) - Very Important - COMMUNICATE WITH US MORE ON THE FORUMS... respond to posts, give feedback, interact with your peoples.
-- people who care about each other fight, have arguments, disagree.. but they still care, and they need to communicate to make the relationship work... PGI & the community are no different.
- If you fixed the chat, you could even have PGI Chat events with various PGI Employees in regards to their areas/specialties.

Capture the flag game mode. Works on other shooter's why not mwo?
Break up of planet's into states or something similar so smaller units can Take and hold territory.
Personalized customizable strongholds in faction play. like upgrades to landing pads=faster respawn time. Ammo bunkers = small increase in ammo for all mechs
Display unit banner, laser upgrades for base, walls, dragons teeth etc.
Maps more maps less mechs why not map packs work just like mechs but maps only playable for people that bought for a month or less then they public or if enough people buy it goes public
All Camo support for king crab
Customized mech parts like atlas head
More consumables luv the smoke screen idea maybe a jet pack boost, speed boost
More modules same concept
Solaris 1v1
More leader board info per mech
Could go on for days but never feel like you listen or care so if you could change that. That would be great

As a new player coming from Steam in December, i found the game interface overwhelming.

What i suggest is simple: add tool tips literally EVERYWHERE.
  • on the main menu: Tier and tier progress? what is that all about?
  • waiting to drop: what mechs are those? WHM-6D ? is it a heavy? clan of IS? (same on final rankings)
  • (...) and etc. All forms of contextual help you can remember will be extremely helpful for new players.
