I play(read master) Gargoyles now as last mech to master to go and on paper it looked terrible...I mean barely 20 tons for armament?
But after UAC buff...UAC20+6ERSLas and here we go 4 kills,6 Assists 600-700 dmg...and now I get bigger Gargoyle?Can not wait!

You are right, that would be generous....they now suck excluding 1-2 specific loadouts that completely avoid beam weapons.

Actually, you can still see a lot of energy oriented builds on the field. And as I saw, they can still do some decent 600+ damage. Those players simply stopped whining and adapted to the new situation. For me, similar situation was when BJ-1DC got his quirks changed from AC/5 to AC/2, I was thinking something like: "OMG, why you do this to me!?" Then I actually tried an AC/2 build, and surprisingly, when I changed my playstyle a little bit, I was still able to have some really satisfying matches. One of them was like 5 kills, 5 assists and around 650 damage (I don't have time to find screenshot right now). I hadn't whined about it before I even tried, and here I am, still with a decent 'mech, I just had to change my playstyle. But I guess some people are just too lazy to try something new.

Just so everyone is clear, the only people who actually called the Cauldron Born the Ebon Jaguar where Clan smoke jag themselves. The same people who designed it only call it Ebon Jaguar. Everyone else for the most part adopted its other name the Cauldron Born, even the other clans, and no one really calls it Ebon especially after the smoke jags annihilation, when the only people called it that got wiped out. Making the name Cauldron Born permanent. No matter what faction you were, the name became simultaneously attached to the mech from that point on.

Plus Cauldron Born just sounds cooler.

That's funny cause you evidently don't play CW at all. I've seen things like 9-10 HBR on a wave and not a single Wolf or Crow. Go figure.
