Enemies Remain Red.

Hitting Q and seeing a dozen overlapping names in a swarm is fairly counter intuitive. I understand all the information is there, but that doesn't mean it's being delivered in a user friendly way. Overhead of the Mechs are triangles. My idea was to have a colored gem inside of the triangle as a quick reference.

Light (White)
Medium (Purple)
Heavy (Red)
Assault (Black)

It's a combat game where seconds count, and being able to read the battlefield without having to actually read is only a good thing.

Good idea.
Extend the colours to what you also see on the radar and battlegrid.
Having different shades of colour for your own lance would also be handy.

Each lance should be its own colour. Not "my lance and two others".

Alpha should always be colour X
Bravo should always be colour Y
Charlie should always be colour Z

All three should be distinguishable and constant.
