I'd like to see the MechCommander 1 intro recreated using MWO... Though, in MWO a Commando, Raven, Centurion, and Hunchback really should be able to make short work of a single Timber Wolf.

The "Mining Collective" or whatever it's called would be a good set for that.

I've been thinking of doing that myself. I just need to recruit four pilots, a camera drone operator, and someone with good editing skills. And yes, Mining Collective is the right map for it. There are a couple of spots that work for the "I don't have Jumpjets" scene.

And where are the faction/unit logos that I can stick to my mech?

Yeah mauler pack geometry even comes with red camo to match the background its going to be perfect

This just reminds me how stubby and chubby MWO's art is.
Timberwolf torso: stubby
Timberwolf ears: stubby
Timberwolf and mad dogs legs: chubby
Mad Dogs lasers: stubby
Mad Dogs torso: chubby
The knee spike things on the back of their legs: stubby
Their toes: stubby
Awesome: chubby
Mauler: chubby
All the new Auto-cannon visual customization art(oh hi, jagermech): stubby
Visuals for the Catapults and adder's missiles? f'n chubby
ugh the list goes on.

Aesthetic preferences aside, Alex' treatment makes more sense for a stomping walking machine. The missile boxes are attached better/stronger, the legs' joints are better designed (structurally stronger), and the limbs themselves can be better armored.

To be fair one of my players did actually try to offset the cost of R&R though sponsorship. It was not a bad idea... tacky but showed thinking outside the box.

It sparked me to create teh Killian's Irish Red Lancers!
