I dont know if this might help but I increased my Frames per second from 8-15 to about 45 on average. If I didnt do this I would not be playing MechWarrior Online..

I hope it helps

Someone tell if this is just jacking the Timer Resolution in Win, or something else?

From what I understand is that it takes everything you don't need to run a game and takes it out while running the game. Its how I go 45 frames per second and run everything on very high graphics now instead of low or no graphics.. Just thought it might help and if you dont want it dont use it... up too you

That makes a lot more sense, as the FX 4xx0s are essentially only half a CPU

Thats what I mean I used to play Mechwarrior on super low graphics and even then was getting like 10 frames per second then went with this program and it boosted my game to about 45 FPS and I run at very high graphics... I get some skip sometimes because my internet or if my wife is watching and downloading something but in general its great...

This essentially does similar things as that old AMD program (Overdrive? Fusion? I remember its name was not exactly related and people thought it was for something else) they were providing back in the Radeon HD 3xxx days that would kill off various background services and processes to free up CPU time for whatever else you were doing. This is definitely doing it in a more clean and easy way, but it should be at least semi-effective for those with machines lacking in CPU horsepower.
