Greetings MechWarriors,

We are currently experiencing some intermittent and brief network issues, which may result in occasional disconnects or match drops. We will keep everyone updated as information becomes available.

Game is currently unplayable. Even when not disco, lags out for 30 seconds at a time

Yeah, if you need to shut down the servers and reboot to fix it might as well, the game is unplayable at this point. I'd rather see "offline" than try to play.

perhaps a server reset is in order, totally moonwalking on the spot all the time, to 'wake up' dead :x

its probably not a server issue since the game servers are independant for each other; Its more than likely a faulty port in a LAG group.

Depending on which LAG mode you choose it wont place the port into auto down if it detects errors. So what ends up happening is that the server uses both ports oblvous to the errors, resulting in dropped packets.
Since this game is UDP, dropped packets causes a desync, if you desync for to long; your client has to basically resync from the last know possition the server had you at. Which is why you warp; your not warping, but returning to the servers last known location.

Noticed some games over the last day where 30 had been added to my normal ping. Maybe a precursor of the trouble happening now....

I was wondering why I was suddenly getting lag and rubber banding.

Just got out of 2 games where it was almost completely unplayable due to this issue and multiple people in the drop were experiencing warping / disconnects. Please take the servers offline or at least reset them.

Guys, if it's a network issue, resetting servers doesn't do anything. Like when your whole neighborhood is down, but Comcast tells you to reboot your computer. Thanks "Billy" from Comcast support.

Why would it affect some and not all players? The locations hit seem to be pretty evenly distributed. When I ask in-game, a lot of people don't seem to be having the problem.

May just be the people having disconnect issues FINALLY figured out to stop playing. Got a bit tired of all of them always being on my team.

I usually have a ping of 9 ( yes you read that right ) and today was unplayable ( ping never seemed to go above 20 however ). I would experience frequent lock ups where everyone would seem to be walking in place. the thing would last around 10 seconds at a time and happen once or twice a minute. I thought it was something with my ISP and didn't give it further thought beyond doing something else with my time.

I'll try again tonight to see if things cleared up.

I got several disconnections myself yesterday, but that bad thing is that it happened to many players. In every game there was at least one or two people disconnecting. I hope it gets fixed soon.
