I'd like to see a module that prohibits onboard weapons from firing unless their target is within the effective range of the weapon.

a switch between, open mode (cna be shot all the time) ranged mode (anything until max range) and short mode (only within 100% damage range) would be nice. Would help especially the new players who still try to hit stuff wit green beams at 1000m

Or just add the soundfiles to Betty
Close to max range "shoot again. maybe he will feel it this time"
Past max range "party harder"
