So I finally got VSR working on my 7870, so I figured I'd give it a quick spin with MWO at 1440p.
In testing grounds I was getting around 45FPS while running at 1440p(on a 1080p monitor). With those results I didn't bother trying to run in a match.
So, I guess I've found a GPU limit in MWO. The 7870(and presumably 270/370) are the lower limits for MWO at 1080p.
Since this card is only 2GB, I wonder if the 4GB version(370) would show improvement, but I suspect I'm more core limited than VRAM limited.
Just throwing this into the ether, I'm not going to be doing any in-depth testing.

the AMD 370 is in fact a rebrand of the R7 265 if you check the shader cores and speed
The 380 will be the better card as it is the 4GB version of the R9 285 GPU which is build for 1080P gaming

Ah yes, sorry, I should have added an "X" to the end of those numbers.

Of course a 380/285 would be better, but I was mentioning what the "minimum" likely is for 1080p gaming with MWO in my estimation.
Me, I'm waiting to see how the Fury Nano's look, and go for some serious overkill 1080p gaming.
