So i was wondering who else has spent more c-bills on modules than mechs?

i'm gonna go add it up but if i had to guess i'd say i've spent easy 150 mill on modules. An since i buy all my mechs now from packs, i haven't spent any c-bills on mechs apart from omni-pods and weapon systems

Too much.

I don't want to know the exact number, but consider this: A Radar Deprivation module costs more than three Commandos.

Isn't that just a tad ridiculous?

So it's bad i have 14 Radar Derps? Mainly due to the fact i like my mechs ready to rock and hate doing the module juggle

The correct answer is always "too much".

There's no rhyme or reason where a Flamer module costs as much as a Clan ER Med module. That doesn't even begin to express how Adv Seismic and Radar Derp costs as much as Speed Retention and Cap Accel.

Around half the c-bills i've ever had, which probably according to the almighty Paulconomist Paul is - "Not enough".

I hate modules. I hate the current experience and skill systems. I hate the current pathetic rewards we get for playing. I hate consumables and most importantly, I hate Paul.

Too much. The pain of switching modules and having to click tons of times is having multiple modules.

It's still a sink and too expensive to begin with.

Too damn much.

I hate consumables and modules, just the lot of it. Hell, I hated it when the first ones came out and I hate it now. Don't get me wrong, I USE them because I pretty much have to but I'm not happy about it.

So far in my 2+ months time playing MWO I spent 144M C-Bills on mech modules (Radar Deps and Advanced Seismics) and another 108M C-Bills on weapon modules. All these modules are for 15 mechs (all Clan Mechs) Too lazy to swap modules around so I just equip them all :)

I have 6 more mechs to buy modules for so until then I will just continue farming for modules before I start to farm for another mech chassis.

About 75 million since modules first came out (I swap them around). Still too much, but I'm sure it's working as intended.

Way..way more than seems acceptable.

I can outfit 1 mech with new engine, dhs, Artemis, Endo, weapons.

Or I can dump +15,000,000 and give myself a counter to LRM module, 12% less of something and wall hack.

Everything seems overpriced but that wall hack.

I have spent zero C-Bills on Modules. According to how Elo is supposed to work, it will match me with people of the same "skill" based on my having no modules. If I start using modules, I will get a short winning streak, and Elo will adjust to match me against people of the same "skill" once again.

Ultimately Modules do not improve my winning chance and are thus a waste of my C-Bills.

Someday if CW turns into something worth doing, then I may get Modules for CW use only.

Yea, too much.

I try to buy just 1 or 2 of what I need and shuffle the modules around to what mech I want to play, but that is kind of a pain. I like switching things up a lot and playing a lot of different mechs in my mechbay every play session. All that module moving suuuuuucks.

I still have some range Modules on my Atlas-S, and a recycle module for my AC20.
