Tactics and Theory: Federated Suns
This thread shall be used as a platform to discuss and highlight the various Tactics employed by Units of the Federated Suns military. Submissions to this thread should conform to the following format for ease of communication:
Name of Davion unit
Unit tag
Match type/Atk or Defend/Map (type "Any" if tactic is used regardless of map)
Tactics used
(Optional) Pilots to watch out for: reasons why, include identifying information is applicable. (NO name and shame or personal vendettas, only relevant tactical information)

Skirmish/Defending/Caustic Valley
When defending, the WWH will move to grids H5, H6, and H7 and begin poptarting and peeking with long range weapons (PPCs/ERLL) while some Lights act as spotters for 1-2 missile boats.
Elmer Fudd: Light pilot typically in a Raven who uses NARCs/UAVs after getting in behind Assault lance. Typically uses All Chat to type "Be vewy, vewy, quiet. I'm huntin' Fatties"

Since Davion spies are everywhere (please report all suspicious activity to Maskirovka), discussion of counter-tactics may be ill advised, but is not wholly discouraged, especially for battles outside of CW.
Due to the fluid nature of combat, tactics often change. To make edits to an Observed Tactical Doctrine, simply Quote the entry pertaining to the OTD then type up your addendum. Note this is for changes to an existing OTD like location changes or Mech loadouts. Brand new OTDs should have their own entry.
There is a tactical Meta to this game, and different units do favor different tactics. This thread will provide a quick reference to commanders allowing them to create strategies on the fly. By cataloging it and studying it, we can advance our Faction's interest in both CW and PUG by adapting to the meta and changing it to reflect OUR will.
This thread is for Davion Loyalist Units and Tactics but other threads will be started as time goes on.
