Anyone else got any builds they prefer on the Zeus, especially the 6s?

I think I'm running a STD320 or STD340 with 3 LLasers and 1 Gauss Rifle. It's....ok. I know their has got to be something better, but that's what I'm running now. At least the firing the gauss sustains DPS while it cools from LLasers.

ZEU-6S
Because who doesn't like the old meta
ZEU-6T
Laser Vomit (right) and LRM Spam
ZEU-9S
Just plain old Laser Vomit (using ERLL Module on this as well for 878m optimal range).

Personally I really like my 3 Large laser, 2 AC5 build.

I find the Zeus tanks very well with XLs, especially after being elited.
ZEU-6S "Moneymaker"
my primary and most successful Zeus. A little under 3/1 KDr. Never dies without missing both arms first. LRMs are mostly for long range harassment and support, a single rack not being enough to focus too much on. Most of the work is done with the MPL and the AC10, which is a vicious combo, especially with tankiness of the chassis.
ZEU-5S
ZEU-6T
ZEU-9S boring laservomit

true, it's not, but some folks don't sword and board everything, some find a Zeus with an empty RA too hideous to bear, and some find uses for that LRM while closing to bring the rest of the mech to bear. Not using an XL in one of the tankiest mechs in the game is a bigger waste than slapping a single LRM rack on is.

The Zeus is a great support mech, which surprisingly enough is what is stated on the Sarna page.
All my set ups have been made around long range support for the beginning of the match through either LRM or ERLL, and then a second set of weapons for closing and fighting close.
Probably the most fun build is the 6x SRM 6 "fist of chirst".

Running a standard engine lets me Iron Man the LL out of the CT slot too.

It is a challenge running 3 disparate weapon systems with varying optimal ranges and rates of fire, but I find it more enjoyable playing fun non-meta builds. Fortunately my Elo bracket in the Assault class affords me that option, sadly my medium and heavy mechs are in the try-hard or die-hard level.
