Hi guys, i know, this request this request may seem strange but i need an user.cfg file with the lock for 60 fps and a guide on how to use it...
My frame rate ranges from 120 to 40 fps and when it goes down, it slows the game, and that's annoying, especially in bad situations....
Before formatting and install windows10 had solved just with a user file, now the trick does not work and I do not understand what's wrong...
P.S. I tried to enable vsinc and actually the framerate remains locked to 60 fps, but it '' lags '' the controls!

I use a 65 fps limit, the limiter seemed borked with lower framerates. Didn't play recently so I don't know how it behaves now.
go to file explorer, click view, check "file name extensions", maybe in other windows versions you have to uncheck "hide file exstensions".
Create a textfile (rightclick somewhere ->new->text document) and put this in:
sys_MaxFPS = 65
Then save, rename the file to user.cfg and copypaste in the game folder.

If you have an NVIDIA Card you could enable "Adaptive VSYNC"
limits to 60FPS+Vsync but if it drops below 60 it'll break Vsync and use "normal-mode"

For AMD simply use the newest Driver and limit the FPS in the Driver to whatever you want...it is under the performance settings...

There's no need for the user.cfg.
Just need to activate V-Sync on the Video Settings in-game.
At least I did that and it locked to 60fps.

I have this configuration on my PC:
SO windows 8.1 (waiting for W10)
Processor I7 4790K
HD ssd 256 Gb
Ram: 32 Gb DDR4
Video Nvidia GTX960 2 DDR5
V-sync: active
I’ve activated V-sync but my FPS were over 85! I’ve successfully modified user.cfg file with limitation on 60! It works perfectly!
Waiting for W10 … I’m crossing fingers!

If you have VSync enabled and FPS above 60 the Monitor is probably set to a Refreshrate above 60Hz.
You would need to look into your Windoiws/Driver Settings and manualy set the Refreshrate to 60Hz.
