Aluminum. Alu-f*****g-minium.
I know there's such thing as American English but why is this the English setting in websites and stuff? British English should be the defacto standard. F**k Obama, his fault.

Also, according to scholars of the English language, American English is closer to the roots of the language than British English is. Americans haven't bastardized English, the British have.

That is complete and utter bollocks man. You know the saying that the victors of war always write the script? Well if you're going by population then you've won it.
American English is so far from naturalised English that it should just be classified as "American". Typical example of Murica owns the world. Also epitomises many of the problems we all face when it comes to terrorism because Murica got too big for its own boots.

It's not pronounced KOL-OUR, it is pronounced KUHL-OR. You brits just can't pronounce anything properly because you've burned your tongues with all the stupid tea you drink

Oh really? Then why do the British insist on adding the French 'u' to words like colour, while the Americans continue to use the correct Latin root form, color? Yeah, that's right, "colour" isn't English in origin, it's a French influence on British English.
(The French, presumably in a continued game of one-upsmanship, moved on to using -eur once the British adopted -ur. Vowels are OP, you know.)
British English has been more dramatically affected by continental European languages than American English, which makes perfect sense because Britain is closer to continental Europe than the US is.
