I love how I didn't even intend to bring up the Color/Colour argument. Obviously PGI is Canadian based who more closely follow the spellings of British English while I'm in the USA so I'm just used to spelling everything how I learned it. Except Aluminium...like, seriously Ah-Loo-Mi-Num? Really America? There is clearly an i in it...Mi-Nee-Um.

Anyways...my OP was about the face on the urbie and the general meme usage in the headline for it.

Well, you can blame the dude who discovered it for that. At first, he called it alumium, then aluminum, and finally aluminium, which is the accepted term by the IUPAC, and thus, the accepted scientific term, even within the states. Only the plebs uses aluminum.

Heh. Whenever someone starts a rant about the use of ou in English or the correct spelling of aluminium and the like I can't help but giggle and think of this scene from Preacher. :)
