Current MM+New steam players=WINNING! i think i see what PGI's plans are for the steam release, keep it up PGI, things are definately headed in the direction of a much much better game.
Hopefully the rebalance will tackle the TTK problems.

Please don't ever go back to the old MM, if you do i will leave as will others.

Sorry 2 YEARS of **** Elo balanced MM has been far more then enough for me.

Just keep playing your couple games a day and you'll be back in your proper elo bracket thinking your are an average skill pilot again before you know it.

I for one have the time of my life in mwo, to be true. Close matches all the time, intense and exciting. And if I die early I know exactly what I did wrong - mostly because I rush in with my new hellbringers, mechs that aren't made for this.

However, even if the round ends 12-0 it is far from a one-sided stomp and I get GG from both teams. So whats my magic tier? no idea, to be true. I don't trust the new matchmaker yet, in the end you still have the same limited playerbase as before.
And I see all kind of players, high comp teams, forum warriors, lurmies and joystick pilots and people I always saw in my matches from time to time.

So I guess I'm in the middle and at least for me it looks spot on.

For some reason my poor Atlas is hurled against Oh so l33t Meta laser vomit and gauss builds where its 8 clan mechs and 4 is mechs. Some times I wonder how the hell I got here.

It will take a bit to adjust but after that you will not be getting top players in your games.

So why do I get almost only defeats? and almost all the time with teams that noone act as team member? and in the same time enemy team looks like play as real team? this can't be random , for me means that new system brings in a match teams each one with different skill. I hope this system changes over the next weeks.

I would suggest you find a unit to join. It will make the game a lot more funfor you.

Also you rankings are going down so it will get better.

Why is there ALWAYS someone who prefers to go against positive change to go with something both outdated and completely stupid?

I dont want to see the Elo system come back, because basing it on match score makes a lot more sense, but i would like to see a PSR per weight class rather than per account. I am a MUCH better Wubshee driver than i am an Arctic Cheetah driver.

Whether or not replacing Elo with PSR is positive change is quite debatable at this point in time.

i kinda think everyone should have been started at teir 4 (or better yet, 5) as a new player and have to earn their way up. now you have stats generated under the old system contaminating any results the new system could produce. so when they go back to analyze the data they are gonna get anomalies left over from the old stats and they wont know what to tweak to fix it.
