I created this quick video guide about understanding how the torso hardpoints work in the Banshee. Worth checking out if you're new and considering this mech! The Banshees have some nice high mounts but getting your weapons where you want them is a lot more confusing than it should be. If you are a new player looking for an IS assault, I can definitely recommend them, especially the 3E. These mechs offer a high engine cap (a big standard engine can give you heavy-class speed and allow you to lose side torsos without dying) good hardpoints, big arms for shield, and lots of armor. The drawbacks are that they are really big targets and don't really do missiles (if that's your thing), and most lack weapons in the arms which can be annoying around lights.

This video doesn't build an optimized Banshee but will save you some time in the mechlab.
