I thought this was hilarious - you can shave with a Small Laser now! I doubt it would smell very nice, but yea. Nvm, no smell.

I don't know about that name. Skarp sounds like something that would happen if you didn't make it to the bathroom in time.

I found it ironic that the guy talking the most about how great this laser shaver is going to be had a full beard.

For a full beard, I'd recommend the medium laser.

Personally, I just use an AC/20.

Works just fine.

(I'm honestly curious as to how well this thing will work.)

Interesting... I'm not sure of yet if it really doesn't cause any irritations because of the Laser touching the skin. Might burn the skin a little? If the ...Laserblade (here we go, Laserblades!) isn't applied correctly in ankle and shaving speed it might emission too much energy to the skin? There are some other concerns too.

But hey if it is possible to make a Laser shaver I'm sure humanity finds a way to improve it to a level where it's actually useful.

Now that we might have Laser shavers soon. Where are the sonic showers and teleporters? :D

Careful there, Mighty Beards have deflective capabilities... Sometimes even almighty AC20 can't just cut them.

What's suddenly wrong with normal shaving? Why we reinventing wheels? :D

Zero irritation and no skin damage, for starters. Basically, the lasers on a frequency that only melts (not burns) through hair.

Would buy.

As someone whose family hails from the hairiest of hairy Frenchmen, this sounds wonderful. I can't tell you how many times I've finished shaving only to have a red, sore neck and face after. And with how fast my hair grows I really have no chance but to let my beard grow, as shaving twice a day and getting razor burn each time is very annoying...

So! I shall support this project when it becomes available, but I will need to see some more practical demonstrations.

My only real concern with this thing is duration. In that video, it looked like it was taking an awfully long time to cut through 4 hairs. Considering i have been blessed/cursed by the testosterone fairy, I have a fast growing, really thick beard, and I really want something that lets me shave it properly, and not take 6 hours to do so.

Well, at least they've way past their Kickstarter goal. Let's see how it turns out.

TBH, I forgot that I even made this thread lol.

It actually is pretty cool, but there's a lot of claims being made, and that's a heck of a lot of money.

I'm with others who are going to wait. Neat idea though.
