I do not attempt to trash talk or use psychological warfare. I simply wish all players a good hunt and play the game.

You never know when the occasional "ggclose" will be the tipping point for a bitter player looking to quit or the harsh showing to a new MWO player.

Now, yeah, if I get my CT stripped from 1000M out by a damn ERLL raven or one of my torsos blown off in one alpha I'll start Q.Q'ing in chat, but until I am provoked, my enemy does not deserve the dishonor of trash talk.

I usually start a match asking my team 'Where to?' to at least start the convo on coordination.

Sometimes I get a "To Victory!" in response. I like it, because I'm pretty sure every time someone said it, the matches were actually wins.

I did a drop once in solo PuG queue and by chance ended up with two guys I'm in a unit with-a father and 10 year old son. The son and I, and his dad end up on opposite teams. They were doing some dad-son trash talking and the son identified his father as the other party...and immediately dad became my team's primary target. The whole team totally abandoned the mission objective to go hunt dad down. It was *hysterical*.

Seriously though: Not really the answer you're looking for but, it's the one where the VOIP lead speaker is either so immersive or motivating, that by match's end, winning isn't really important.

i like to type nonsense at the beginning to throw the enemy off. or flat out give disinformation about our mechs or tactics in open comms.


when i kill someone with lasers i usually say "TASTE THE RAINBOW MODAFUGGA!!!!" (if i feel like saying something)


and if i kill someone in a heavier assault than my own 8- tonner with a srm salvo or erppc to the face i like to say "SAY JAM SUCKA!!!!"



all in good fun ofc - i always make sure they know its a joke
