Sounds like a good thing for newer pilots. Learn something, hang out with some good pilots and cool folks.

I would certainly love to tag along on some of these sessions when I am on the hub - you can teach old dogs new tricks - it just takes a little longer is all:)

If I'm able to be online, I would love to drop in. There is never such a thing as having too much knowledge.

Creston & co. - I wanted to doubly thank you - not only for this, but for helping with the joint KellHounds / Browncoats trainings previously - and for the help with the 'training drops' with the newer/training players, and the scrimmage with CWI's version of what we're doing, their trainee 'epsilon galaxy' - all of that was a good time.
We'll be there, and I think word is getting around.

You should put the schedule up at the top with bullet points and very loud bold font. And strikethrough the already passed dates. =3

Seconded.

Also, I appreciate the tentative times. 10pm EST is a time I can actually make without breaking anything schedule-wise. I'm abundantly aware that won't be the case for everybody, but I appreciate it myself nonetheless.

I'm willing to help and learn, provided nothing crops up at the last minute to foil my plan to do so.

Hello everyone, I've been playing for about a month now and really having a good time. But I'm wanting to be a better support player. So I what to learn what mechs to buy and how to equip them to be most effective. So I'm building my C-bills. I have like 13mil.

Thanks so much,

Eld'arwen

Shoot, there been a lot of 35 % price off sells lately...but to give you few tips.
Hopefully in month of playing you found your mech class preference..that will be your corner stone.
Secondly to get certain chassis mastered you need 3 variants off it, if you have choosen
IS tech, you will be forced in most cases to dish out additional 2,5 mil per mech over asking price (
thats average cost for double heat sink and endo steel upgrade, which are mandatory).
I would suggest Enforcer or Hunchback as starter mech, one can teach you JJ,XL and arm weapon points,
second std, peeking-high mounted weapon point, both are mediums that can tank well if you pilot
them right...best of luck in your buy.

Any chance of resurrecting this?

After a break, I came back, and did some pugging -and... let's say i realized there was still a place - ok a need - for new player help -
so....
https://mwomercs.com...es/page__st__60

and - some of the loose alliance of 2 and 3 man returning units asked about actual training nights, etc - so - be great to have that to offer them.

And - the ReSeRVes 'new player training unit' that Duke E and Lord Creston were training - could use new trainers - and someone willing to take the mantle and run the unit.
Cheerios!
